Orion Center for the Arts had the privilege of hosting KLASSICAL TOUCH, a cultural event celebrating the richness and beauty of classical music. For one exceptional evening, the sounds of the piano, violin, and other instruments filled a venue where music lovers had gathered to share a truly remarkable experience.
Initiated and organized by John Mpetenga, KLASSICAL TOUCH brought together talented artists, passionate musicians, and an audience eager to discover—or rediscover—a musical world in which emotion speaks louder than words.
Throughout the performances, the audience was captivated by deeply expressive interpretations that created an atmosphere at once intimate, elegant, and inspiring. More than just a concert, the evening demonstrated that classical music continues to unite people from different backgrounds through a shared passion.
By opening its doors to this initiative, Orion Center for the Arts reaffirmed its commitment to supporting projects that contribute to cultural development and the promotion of artistic talent. The event fully reflects the Center’s mission: to make art a space for connection, learning, and meaningful exchange.
The success of this first edition points to a promising future for KLASSICAL TOUCH, which has the potential to become a major event on Lubumbashi’s cultural calendar.
“KLASSICAL TOUCH was born from a simple vision: to offer audiences an authentic musical experience in which classical music becomes a universal language capable of bringing people together, moving them, and inspiring them.” — John Mpetenga, Event Organizer
