Born from the vision of its founder, Aras M. NGONGO, Orion Center for the Arts was established with a clear ambition: to provide Congolese artists with a professional, structured, and inspiring environment in which to develop their craft.
Located in the heart of the Gambela District at 380 Changalele Avenue, behind the new INPP building, the Center quickly established itself as a prominent institution within Lubumbashi’s local arts and cultural scene.
Under the operational leadership of Magellan KAHOZI, Center Director, Orion has developed rigorous training programs, welcomed artists-in-residence, and hosted cultural events that have made a lasting impact on the community.
